    Thank you very much for the insightful article. It reinforces why I eat most of my carbohydates at night, though I also train at night. I feel much better if I keep carbs low during the day, save the serving of raspberries or blueberries at lunch.

      David, Thanks for reading. I think it’s a great idea to keep calories/carbs higher around your activity (in your case lifting). At the end of the day you have to find what works best for YOU and it seems like you have done this. I also feel better with higher protein/higher fat during the day but that doesn’t mean that carbohydrates are bad, I just sometimes feel better without them.
